At the beginning of the school year 2002/03 we looked for a Diploma Project, which is a part of our final exam.

After a meeting with Mr. Haemmerle Dieter from BLUM Ges.m.b.H we (Bereuter Joachim, Groicher Martin, Grabherr Simon and me ) got an interesting project. Mr.Haemmerle told us that they have ergonomic problems with the mounting process of stamping tools. Therefore our task is to create a handling device for mounting the single tools in a Transfer Stamping Street.

The main problem is represented by the extremely narrow handling space which hinders the mounting process without a rotation around the horizontal axle.This rotation increases the complexity of the mounting device enormously.

Our supervisor at school is Mr. Alfred Baer, our consultant at BLUM is Mr. Dieter Haemmerle.

The complete solution has to be realised till the end of May and includes all the calculations, CAD-drawings and CAD-data. Further we have to make a pre- and an endpresentation at school and a special ambit of the project is part of our oral matura.
