On top of my profound theoretical knowledge I
have also gained some practical experience in
production.
In the holidays during my education and training at
the HTL Bregenz I worked with Fa. GRASS in Höchst to
improve my practice-experience.
The company is a well established manufacturer of
metal fittings. They produce hinges and front drawer
loadings but also drilling and force machines for
the furniture industry. I was involved in the
companies assembly department where I got an insight
in the technique applied assembling different kinds
of drilling and force machines or stockkeeping. My
work with Fa. GRASS also involved tasks like
mounting assemblies (gear transmissions, pneumatic
system,…), testing control functions of drilling and
force machines,...
I worked as a trainee at Fa. GRASS in Höchst (at the
assembly department).
