As I didn’t find an interesting project I decided to have the construction week in May.
I was one of the main coordinators of the ball-committee for the ball of technicians in January 2003 and so I had to do a lot of work. As I was student representative of the HTL Bregenz last year, I support the boys and girls doing the job this year.

Like every other HTL-pupil I worked during my summer vacations at different companies.

• In summer 2002 I worked at the Dailmer Chrysler factory in Sindelfingen in the so called "PWT/VWL Kaufteile Metalle". The tasks of this department are testing material of prototypes and handling claims from the assembly line. I had to make cross-grinding specimen and to analyse them under a reflected-light microscope. As the microscope was coupled with a PC I also had to make photo-reports.
  
• 2001 I had to draw different things in the department VTK of EISENMANN in Böblingen (near Stuttgart). There I had to work in a team. I supported the engineers by doing some easy jobs. So I had to construct the air and gas piping-system of a roll-furnace for ROSENTHAL (a famous company for ceramics-crockery).
• My first year at EISENMANN was in 2000. I worked in the logistic and dispatch-department. One of my superior gave me one list after the other and so I had to pick up everything on the list and put them in a package.
• My first vacation work was construction in 1999. I assisted the engineers at GfI mbH in Gerlingen. I also had to build up a register of every book in the company. I had to list the name, the topic and the rack where the book was placed.
  

At the HTL we were confronted with a few CAD-programs.
So we have learned to work with:

AutoCAD Genius Desktop
AutoCAD 2000
Mechanical Desktop 4
Inventor series (4, 5 and now 6)
At EISENMANN I had to work with: MICRO STATION.

As a student of the HTL I also had to work with Microsoft Office.
In my spare time I started learning Macromedia Flash, Dreamweaver and many other programs.
