During my education and training at the
HTL-Bregenz I already did some industrial
placements to gain additional practical
experience. Of course we also do practical work
at school in workshops and laboratories
(approximately 20 % of our courses), but my
practical trainings have shown that you still
learn something new every day at a company. All
traineeships appealed to me and there were never
any troubles which would be worth mentioning.
I worked at:
1999 - Meusburger (Wolfurt, Austria): (company
for toolmaking)
the department for quality assurance. I had to
check up standard and special workpieces for
tolerances and surface damages
2000 - Meusburger (Wolfurt, Austria):
the grinding shop. Here I had to work on a cross
grinding machine for two weeks. Afterwards I
operated with a longitudinal grinder.
2001 - Meusburger (Wolfurt, Austria):the
department for operation scheduling It was my
assignment to complete cnc workplaces for the
workprocess.
2002 - Meusburger (Wolfurt, Austria):
a computer numerical controlled milling machine.
Here I had to mill different parts of
injection-molding-tools.
