Engineering project:
In order to get a better practical insight, two of my colleges and me decided to look for a diploma – project. Our assignment is to design a control station and an assembly – line for an electrical – socket or combination – jack. That is a product from “Neutrik”, a company based in Liechtenstein. The main challenge of this project is to find a good solution of how to put these electrical – sockets together. Because “Neutrik” produces six different variations of that jack and all types should be produced on the same assembly – line, in that time or faster than they do it now by hand. The company does not requires only the designing and planning of the several stations, but also an amortization calculation. We hope that we find a good solution and also that we do a good job. If the machine works well it will be realized.
We are looking forward to ending up with our work in April 2003.

Practical experience:
During my summer vacations I have already worked at these companies:

  • Dietrich LDC for 8 weeks. There my tasks were assembling a slipper holder and I also acted as stock keeper





  • Zumtobel PLC for 8 weeks. There my main tasks were designing and planning

    MathCAD.
