	Engineering project :
	In order to get some insight into real working life, 2 of my classmates and myself decided to look for a diploma project. Eventually we found one at Neutrik /Etzinger engineering. Our task is to automate the final controlling and the assembly of an electrical socket. The firm’s requirements do not just include the designing of the different handling stations, but also a complete amortization calculation. Based on our findings we have to decide about the degree of automation that would be appropriate to the assembly of this product. Furthermore we have to reorganize the various partly automated stations that already exist. The big challenge for us is the fact that Neutrik produces basically six different variations of that jack and all six socket types are to be produced on the same assembly line, as they do it now, by hand. Our supervisor is Etzinger engineering and Mr Klaus Bereuter cares for us on behalf of the HTL.

Wärtsilä Finland Oy .- module manufacturing tasks: assembly and mounting of ship motor compounds including quality assurance and an insight into a Flexible Manufacturing System (FMS) • · 05. 08. 2002 to 07. 09. 2002 Fa. Etzinger engineering Liechtenstein – drawing office tasks: designing of several machine parts (on Inventor 5.2)

	I am hopefully looking forward to finding a job as trainee at a firm somewhere abroad.
